Over the course of the last few months DSS has been engaged in the development of the Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure consulting services related to implementing the second increment of our ACESS Project.  We are very aware of the importance to provide our approval stakeholders with sufficient time to review our RFP and we are equally cognizant of the relationships among time, quality and perceived risk when vendors prepare to respond with comprehensive solutions to our RFP.  Recognizing these factors and accounting for the upcoming holiday season, DSS has determined that the RFP will be provided to our approving authorities for a sixty day period and then will be posted this winter for prospective proposers for a ninety day period.   Contract start date is now estimated to be late summer.
