• Provides computer services to all offices within the Department, as well as the Department of Health and Hospitals.
  
  
• Serves as the Webmaster for the DSS Web Site.
  
  
• Operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, while maintaining sixty-five (65) current computer systems and providing on-line support capabilities to 209 parish/state offices by means of a statewide teleprocessing network of more than 10,000 devices.
  
  
• Provides operational services for the six (6) areas that comprise Information Services, which are: Applications Programming, Technical Services, Planning and Procurement, Support Services, Network Support, and Operations.
