Polite 10-year-old Has Presidential Dreams

Desmon makes good grades and wants to be many things when he grows up.
Update:
Desmon is in the process of being adopted.

Desmon is a cute and polite 10-year-old boy. He loves to help out around the house and with younger children. Desmon likes sports and computer games. He is in the 4th grade in regular education and makes good grades. He likes all subjects except language. When he grows up, he would like to be the president, a teacher, a policeman, a social worker or a football player.

Desmon loves spaghetti, ribs, hot dogs, hot wings, chicken, burgers and almost anything but potato salad. He does not like taking pills because he fears he will choke. Desmon's foster mother says he is a big baby at heart.  Like most ten-year-olds, Desmon will crawfish his way out of a situation when he believes he will get in trouble for it.  While he is thrilled about the idea of having a family, Desmon wants his potential family to know that he would like to remain in touch with his older sister.

For additional information about Desmon, or other children in need of adoption, call the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services at 1 (800) 259-3428.  If you are interested in providing a safe and stable home for a child who needs one, please call today or visit www.dcfs.louisiana.gov.
